Attica Beaches

 Marikes beach is located between Rafina and Loutsa in the Attica region. It is quiet in the mornings, without a lot of people and mostly sandy and unorganized. It has a canteen, showers and changing rooms.

In the beach of Artemida people have the privilege to enjoy two of the cleanest beaches in the whole of Attica, as the "Blue Flag" has been taken to both the beach at the central Intersection and the one at the Lake (Aliki). Artemida is called “The family beach”. It is very close to the archeological site of Vravrona and the Temple of Artemis.

It is calm and usually windless. On the beach one can find pebbles and sand, without umbrellas and sunbeds. Close enough there is also a secluded spot for nudism but also a classic, well-known fish tavern for food.
